Sneak a Peek: Blush/Face Products Drawer
This is probably my favorite drawer of all. The Blush/Bronzer/Face stuff drawer!I absolutely love blush. Of all the products I use, blush is probably the one I rotate through the most as far as using different colors day to day.
Don't get me wrong, bronzers are nice but they kind of all look the same for the most part and don't catch my eye.
However there are a million and one blushes out there and I think I need them all. <3
So this drawer hold all my blushes, concealers, eye shadow primer, eyebrow pencils, and sometimes bronzers (if they fit, sometimes the blushes take over.)T hat being said, I didn't take a picture of the eyebrow pencil because that's just not fun to look at but my favorite is the Nyx Micro Brow pencil in taupe.
We'll start with my least favorite part of the drawer first to get it out of the way,
Concealers:
I don't have a favorite face concealer so I kind of just rotate between the Covergirl and Rimmel for spot concealing because I don't think one is really better than the other for me. I've tried pretty much every drugstore concealer out there, the rimmel and covergirl would have to be the best ones I've tried.
Also I have to say the It cosmetics is marketed as an under eye concealer, however personally I think it's way too thick for under the eye so I use it for spot concealing on occasion too.
The Maybelline Age-Rewind concealer is my favorite. I've repurchased a million of these, it's the best under eye concealer. The Clinique one is also nice for under the eye, it's much thinner than the Maybelline so it's not as good as far as coverage goes, but they're both really good for brightening.
The e.l.f eyelid primer is the best primer ever. I haven't tried any high end eye shadow primers but considering this is only three dollars and my eye shadow never creases, there's no need. This is definitely a must try if you haven't already!
On to bronzers:
When I decide to wear bronzer, these are the two I switch between the most. The It Cosmetics one is so glowy and because it's an ombre bronzer you can use just the top for a highlighter, the bottom for a more matte deep bronze, or swirl a brush around for a super glowy bronze. (All of which I swatched below)
The Too Faced easily won me over because not only is it completely matte, it also smells like chocolate. ;)
Now my favorite, Blushes:
Lately my go to blush has been Milani Dolce Pink. It looks slightly terrifying because it looks like straight up glitter. Even in the swatch it looks a little daunting, however once you apply it with a brush on you cheeks, it's the most perfect pink glow. Seriously, try it!
Milani blushes are my absolute favorite, and I probably reach for the three I have the most. The Wet n Wild blush though, is the most pigmented blush of all time. Definitely have to use a light hand. I do reach for the Boots No. 7 blush quite a bit when I just want something subtle.
Part 3 to this series will be up next week, it'll be all about the eyes :)
