Looking Back on 2017

Looking back on the goals I made for 2017,  I actually feel really good about my progress. Obviously I made more progress on some than others but slow progress is better than no progress!

Photograph more

First time getting a photo published, definitely a freak out moment in this year and it’s definitely framed on my wall by my desk.

WATCH MORE BASEBALL

I don’t know if I necessarily watched more baseball, but I did go to a minor league game for the first time in like 11 years and went to a college baseball game for the first time so I saw different baseball!

FIND A NEW SPORT

If softball and the two weeks of covering college swim and dive and two weeks of high school football counts, then I did this too!

I definitely slacked on this goal, the stack of book I got for Christmas in 2016, it’s still there and it’s only gotten taller. Oops!

WRITE MORE

I wrote a lot more this year with working on the North Texas Daily, in classes, LoneStarBall.com, and now for the Prosper Press.

STICK WITH ROUTINES

Well…. my Starbucks routine (*addiction*) is still in tact so that counts right? (I’m including the photographic evidence to shame myself.)

THE BLOG

This is an ongoing goal that will last forever. I’m still working on it! If I counted right, I had 53 blog posts this year and considering that averages to one post a week, I’m feeling really good about the slow progress!
