Red Sweater + My Favorite Podcast
So I'm trying a lot of new things in this post. One of which I don't think is going to work very well but I guess we'll see! First, the thing that is working, this red sweater. I decided I needed more than just neutrals in my closet and I really love the color red.. I'm not only obsessed with the color but also the sweater itself. I want to buy it in all the other colors, which I totally would if they weren't sold out in my size. Bummer! As of writing this ( 1/11/18) it's 30% off and there are still a few sizes and colors left!
My favorite black sunglasses broke a couple months back and since then I've just been sticking to my aviator sunglasses but I've been wanting some black sunglasses. I was originally going to get some basic, ray-ban-looking, plastic black framed sunglasses. Then I saw these at target and had to have them. They look designer but they're like $16 and amazing!
Other thing I'm trying in this post, affiliate links. I'm excited about it, maybe it means nothing to you but for the sake of transparency I gotta point it out. Basically it means that if you click on certain links, I make some money. I put a lot of time and effort into posts so why not make a little money (and I do mean little, commission isnβt that much, it's like five cents or something depending on the brand) Plus Iβm a broke college kid (who freelances as a sports writer/photographer, so not a consistent paycheck) everyone needs a side hustle right?ππΌββοΈπ
Since Iβm jumping around in this post (welcome to how my brain works) I want to mention my favorite podcast lately. Trust me it relates to the outfit. Just give me a minute to get to the point.
So a couple months ago a friend recommended a podcast to me. It's a true crime podcast called My Favorite Murder and the two women, Karen Killgariff and Georgia Hardstark, who do the podcast are just amazing. If you've been looking for a podcast that talks about true crime, sarcasm, comedy, some cussing, feminism, random tangents, this one is for you! I'm still catching up on episodes so I listen to like four episodes a day, I just can't get enough.
I'm listening to it as I write this post actually. But seriously these women are so cool, and funny enough it helps me with anxiety. Weird but true. They both talk about their struggles with anxiety and depression and they're so open about their lives. I just find them so relatable and it's really just listening to two friends have a conversation. Just listen to it!
Ok so how it relates to this outfit.
At the end of each episode they sign off with "Stay sexy and don't get murdered" or SSDGM which is what is stamped on my bangle. See told you it all relates!
