Writing a blog post on Kate’s many green coats felt inevitable at this point. There is only so much you can say on instagram stories but I also wanted to do a deep dive and bigger break down of the coats.
Let’s start with why I started counting how many green coats she has and overall beginning a Coat Counting series. I think we can all agree that 19 coats is a lot for anyone. 19 green coats feels like overkill.

The bright colors, soft and airy just as the silhouettes themselves felt very spring and soft which I think is what this tour really needed.

Kate wore this stunning bright yellow Roksanda dress for her arrival in Jamaica. Once again dressing with color of the flag of the country she arrived in. Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (better known as Prince William and Kate) went on an eight day tour of the Caribbean in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee which celebrates her 70 years on the throne. Now this tour had a lot of issues: out of touch, protests, and a PR nigthmare to name a few. However, I want to focus on the fashion aspect because they reflect each of those issues and as a summary, Kate’s team let her down greatly.
